The facility is located on West Highway 20 next to the Oregon State Police offices and across Highway 20 from the Cascade Village Shopping Center.

The Deschutes County Adult Jail was built in 1994 and has a capacity of 228 beds. We expect inmates to demonstrate individual responsibility and rational behavior. The programs we provide are designed to help inmates make positive changes in their behavior.
