A La Pine resident, living on Davis Ave, La Pine reported having a black bear on her front porch and in her driveway, eating cat food.
The first driver lost control of his vehicle on the snow/ice covered road causing his vehicle to slide into the southbound lane. The second driver, who was southbound, was unable to avoid the collision.
Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office investigating this case have arrested and lodged Jerry S. Hannu on the charge of Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver to Injured Person

On 02-10-2014 at about 3:20 pm, Deschutes County 911 received a call from a female (Sophia Thundercloud) requesting help.
On February 8, 2014 a deputy of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for a welfare check of an elderly couple in the Sisters area that had last been seen on the evening of February 7, 2014.
