On 06/03/13 at approximately 2146 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a possible knife fight at the Meadow Camp day use area off of Century Drive. Several Officers from the Bend Police Department and several Troopers from the Oregon State Police also responded to assist. The reporting person advised three males were actively fighting, and that at least one of the males was armed with a knife.

While Deputies were responding, the reporting person advised the subjects had left the area in a silver Audi. A Deputy and a Trooper passed the Audi on Century Drive, turned on it, and initiated a traffic stop; ending up in the parking lot of the Entrada Lodge. The three subjects in that vehicle were detained during the investigation.

Deputies and Officers came in contact with several vehicles leaving the area at the entrance to Meadow Camp. Several witnesses were interviewed, and one of the involved parties was located in one of the vehicles attempting to leave the scene. He was also detained during the investigation.

The investigation revealed that Seeley and three other subjects (including the victim) arrived at Meadow Camp together in the Audi. Three of the males joined a group of people that were already at Meadow Camp; unrelated to the group in the Audi. Seeley became upset and wanted to leave the area and began kicking the Audi. He also said he had a knife and would begin stabbing people if they did not leave. The victim confronted Seeley and attempted to calm him down. Seeley was armed with a knife at the time, and a fight ensued.

The victim tackled Seeley to the ground, and both Seeley and the victim received minor injuries during the fight. Seeley fled the scene with two other people in the car, leaving the victim behind. Seeley was arrested for Assault IV and Menacing. He was treated at the scene by medics from the Bend Fire Department; the victim refused treatment.

Josh Seeley, who was driving the Audi, was also arrested on a probation violation.
