Deschutes County will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in Deschutes County’s services, programs, or activities. We have adopted a number of programs to assure that the County does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its hiring and employment practices. We also have programs in place to provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communications for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the County’s programs, services, and activities. We are also taking actions to assure that our facilities are compatible with applicable regulations.
