During a Disaster - Volunteering

Once you have your own family prepared, you may choose to volunteer for organizations that help others during emergencies. Volunteers make an important difference every day, but this is especially true during disasters. In most cases, volunteers are expected to apply in advance, pre-register and receive training. Some examples of volunteer opportunities that would be utilized during emergencies are:
