The original Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Adult Jail was built in 1994. A remodel and addition in 2014 added 144 beds, bringing the total capacity to 362. We expect inmates to demonstrate individual responsibility and rational behavior. The programs we provide are designed to help inmates make positive behavioral changes.
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has professional staff that shares a commitment to public service and provides a safe and secure environment for the citizens of our jurisdiction. The facility is located on West Highway 20 across Highway 20, across from the Cascade Village Shopping Center.
