Bringing Holiday Joy to Local Kids

The Shop with a Cop program is a special holiday tradition hosted by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office. Each year, deputies and volunteers team up to provide children in need with a memorable shopping experience. The program helps kids pick out warm clothing, school supplies, and a few special gifts while building positive relationships with local law enforcement.

How It Works

Children are nominated through schools, community partners, and local organizations.
On the day of the event, each child is paired with a deputy or community volunteer.
Together, they shop for essentials and holiday gifts, enjoy treats, and celebrate the season of giving.
